I was working at the garden Thursday afternoon. I wish I could say that I got the whole front circle weeded, because I was there an hour, but there is still about a third that has not been turned over. I hauled away a wheelbarrow full of weeds. It seems to me that we might be nice to ourselves and put plastic and mulch down on this location right at the front of the house. Dahlia tubers and or large marigolds and zinnias would make it colorful. There will be pumpkins here too- yes? The Home should have something there that they can be proud of, but won't kill us to keep up with. It got awfully shaggy last year.
