I spent a little time at the garden on Sunday. Ruth, Rob and Curley were working hard with some great help from Patrick. Ruth and Patrick planted some more peas and Ruth weeded like a champion.
The water is still not turned on, but it will hopefully be on in the next or two. The manure is nowhere to be found. I'll follow-up this week.
As Stacia noted in the previous post, we'll use the calendar to select/assign gardening dates. Stacia gave me 6 dates through September and you'll see them on the calendar. To view the calendar, just click the link at the top of the blog. When you are ready to sign-up for dates, just shoot me an e-mail and I'll add you to the calendar.
The row just next to the peas with twiggy trellises, the third row in, is all planted in peas, and there is a top dressing of manure from Curley. They won't grow until we have rain or can water them.
ReplyDeleteStrawberries are heading our way!
Patrick was a big help getting the job done.
Curley stayed around the edge of the garden MOST of the time. Once it is planted, I will have to watch more carefully, when he comes, where he goes. Sorry for those hoof prints...
